Introductions were made, and the representatives of Thielsch | |||
Engineering, Inc. were welcomed to Region I by Mr. Pangburn. Mr. | |||
Pangburn explained the purpose of the conference which was to discuss | |||
the findings of the NRC inspection conducted on March 9,1998. Mr. | |||
Reber reviewed the apparent violations. I | |||
Ms. Hoffman admitted the violations and stated that Thielsch has never | |||
had an incident of this nature. Mr. MacLure then explained the root | |||
causes for the violations and the licensee's immediate and long term | |||
corrective actions in detail. | |||
Mr. Pangburn stressed the significance of these violations. | |||
Mr. Holody outlined the NRC's enforcement options. , | |||
