Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-352/86-12

This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Dr. Jin W. Chung of

this office on May 27-30, 1986 at Limerick Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1,

Limerick, Pennsylvania of activities authorized by NRC License No. NPF-39 and

to the discussions of our findings held by Dr. Chung with Mr. J. Doering at the

conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Ins-

pection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
