OF MAY 31, 2018 PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS NRC ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION INSPECTIONS On May 31, 2018, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff hosted a public meeting with the Nuclear Utility Group on Equipment Qualification (NUGEQ) and other industry representatives to discuss the on-going NRC Environmental Qualification (EQ) inspections per Inspection Procedure (IP) 71111.21N, Design Bases Assurance Inspection (Programs). The public meeting notice was issued on May 15, 2018 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18135A306), and the purpose of the meeting was to discuss technical issues that need to be resolved relative to the ongoing EQ inspections.
