This refers to the meeting conducted at your staffs request at the Region Il Office in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 15, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. The meetings purpose was to discuss plans to construct and operate an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant. Enclosed is a list of attendees and a copy of the slides presented at the meeting.
Vogtle representatives presented an overview of current spent fuel storage status and plans for long term spent fuel storage. The meeting did not result in specific action items or decisions.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
