Dear Mr. Oehlbert:

Enclosed is an application, dated November 28, 2018, received by the US. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from ConverDyn, requesting Amendment No. 01 to its existing license, XSOU8846.

The license presently authorizes the export of 23,000,000 kilograms of natural uranium ore concentrates (U3O8) to Canada for conversion, and ultimately to various nuclear power reactors within EURATOM and/or in the United States for enrichment and use as fuel.

The purpose of the amendment is to add an additional Other U.S. Party(ies) to Export.

Since there are no changes to the terms and conditions of the existing license being requested, our office is processing this as a minor amendment. We intend to issue the requested license after the 30-day time period allotted for public review has expired, and it is determined that applicable export license criteria are met.
