Enclosed is an application (XSOU8846), dated February 13, 2018, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from ConverDyn for the export of 23,000,000 kilograms natural uranium ore concentrates (UsOs) to, ORANO Tricastin (France), URENCO Deutschland GmbH (Germany), URENCO Nederland BV (The Netherlands), and URENCO UK Limited (United Kingdom), for enrichment and ultimate use as fuel in nuclear power reactors in North America or EURATOM countries.
Assurances from Canada and EURATOM that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation, are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
