The results were provided to her endocrinologist who recommended that a fetal dose calculation be performed. The hospital was notified and their consultant informed the endocrinologist that the fetus would have received 19.6 rads. The Ohio Bureau of Radiation was informed on 1/16/04 and submitted the information to the NRC Region III office.
