Three Mile Island Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, Revision 14 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54, "Conditions of licenses," paragraph (p)(2), Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) is submitting Revision 14 to the Three Mile Island Security Plan. Changes to this document were implemented on July 13, 2012. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), EGC is submitting these changes within 60 days of implementation (i.e., no later than September 11, 2012).
The Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan has been revised to:
: 1. Implement the NRC approved NEI 03-12, Revision 7 Security Plan Template.
: 2. Implement the NRC approve deviations to NEI 03-12, Revision 7 as described in NRC responses to SFAQ's 12-03, 12-04, 12-05, 12-06 and 12-07.
: 3. Update TMI's Security Plan Figure #1 & Figure #2 with additional detail specific to existing and/or recently constructed site structures, to improve existing labeling of site structures and to more accurately depict the location of the alternate LLEA command center.
: 4. Modify descriptions of the Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) at the Unit #1 Air Intake to reflect the retirement of a system that no longer meets the requirements of 10 CFR 73.55.
: 5. Incorporate descriptions of existing and recently installed security systems and/or barriers that serve to enhance the defensive strategy.
EGC has concluded that the changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Three Mile Island Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan.
Attachments -1and 2 contain Safeguards Information. Therefore, EGC requests that this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding," paragraph (d)(1), and 10 CFR 73.22, "Protection of Safeguards Information: Specific Requirements," paragraph (a)(1)(i).
