I. SECY-23-0097 - KAIROS POWER LLC (HERMES TEST REACTOR CONSTRUCTION PERMIT APPLICATION), DOCKET NO. 50-7513-CP, MANDATORY HEARING DECISION The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order addressing the required findings of 10 C.F.R. &sect;&sect; 50.35, 50.40 and 51.105(a) and the issues discussed at the uncontested hearing concerning the application of Kairos Power, LLC to construct a non-power test reactor facility at the East Tennessee Technology Park in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Memorandum and Order authorizes issuance of the construction permit.
(Subsequently, on December 12, 2023, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)
