SAFETY INJECTION DURING LOAD REJECTION TEST d
JA~t cpproximately 11:09 PM (PST)~on November 26, a Unit 2 safety injection occurred on high steam flow signal. The cause is being investigated by the licensee. All safety
 ,       eystems responded as- designed. for the safety injection and consequent reactor trip. -The
       ; cafsty injection was . terminated about 4 minutes af ter the event and injected about
     , 900 gallons from the boron injection tank into the reactor coolant system.
Tha plant was stabilized at about 11:20 PM and is maintaining hot standby conditions.
During stabilization of the plant, a level control valve for one'of the motor-driven euxiliary feedwater pumps closed when it was selected to manual. The licensee is
        -invastigating this problem.
Th2 licensee plans to evaluate the data from this test, make appropriate adjustments, and retest.- Currently, plant restart is scheduled for late today (November 27,'1985).
Ths licensee declared and reported an Unusual Event.
Thare has been press interest.- The licensee has notified the media through daily plant status, report.
