Amendment 3 to RESAR-SP/90 PDA Module 2, " Regulatory Conformance," contains cur current SP/90 position on the regulatory requirements as they relate to implementation of the Severe Accident Policy. Post-TMI requirements, high and i ~'
medium priority Generic Safety Issues (GSIs), Unresolved Safety Issues (USIs) l and New generic issues have been reviewed, and the manner in which the SP/90 i                      design addresses these issues is provided. Miller                                         October 3, 1989 NS-NRC-89-3461 Additionally, our responses (Reference 2) to Staff questions 260.1 -260.33 submitted in Reference 3, regarding the Westinghouse Quality Assurance Program relative to RESAR-SP/90, are included here for insertion in the Question / Answer section of Module 2. That submittal also closed out Open Issue Seven (7) of the Staff's June 10, 1988 Draft Safety Evaluation Report (DSER) on the RESAR-SP/90 PDA.

In conformance with the requirements of 10CFR Section 2.790, as amended, of the Commission's regulations, we are enclosing with this submittal an application for withholding from public disclosure and an affidavit.
