Pursuant to 10CFR50.90, the Boston Edison Company hereby proposes the attached modificati0ni tc Appendix A of Operating License No. CPR-35. These proposed modifications have been provided to conform with the requirements of NUREG 0661 and Reg. Guide 1.97, Type A variable, and NUREG 0737. The first provides a redundant temperature monitoring system for the suppression pool, and the second segment responds to portions of the TM1 Action Plan Requirements of NUREG-0737.
The Torus Temperature modifications add new dimensions to our operational activities and limiting conditions, and are essential for emplacement prior to start up. Installation and intensive testing of the system precluded submittal prior to this time.
