Update Report - Fire Rated Penetrations Opened to Implement Design Change Packages AECM-83/0586 This is an update to a previous report submitted July 8, 1983, for the event described below. The purpose of this update is to provide a revised estimated completion date.
Beginning on June 1, 1983, the fire rated penetrations listed on the attached page were opened to implement design change packages and restored on the dates listed. Fourly fire watches were established within one (1) hour and will be maintained for the duration of the planned maintenance activities in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.2.
This condition has no affect on the health and safety of the public and does not constitute a threat to plant safety. The remaining work tasks are now expected to be complete by November 1, 1983.
