This report is submitted in accordance with the requirements of the                    i Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 50.73(a)(2)(v)(D). The                     '
licensee shall report any event or condition that alone could have prevented the fulfillment of the safety function of structures or systems that are needed to mitigate the consequences of an accident.
The following commitments are being made by this letter:
: 1.      Update the plant design documents to reflect the status of this abandoned cable.         This will be completed by 080197.
: 2.      Label this cable as abandoned at all accessible locations along its route. This will be completed by 081597.
: 3.       QCAP 0460-06, Abandoned Equipment Procedure, will be reviewed to ensure that the proper requirements are in place to ensure drawing updates, cable numbering updates and lateling of abandoned cables. This will be completed by 080197.
