Washington, DC 20555 This letter forwards Licensee Event Report (LER) 97-002-00, documenting an event that occurred at Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No.1 on January 14, 1997. This LER is submitted pursuant to 10CFR50.73(a)(2)(iv).
The following are Northeast Nuclear Energy Company's (NNECO's) commitments made within this letter. All other statements made within this letter are for information only.                                  I B16165-1           NNECO commits that the immediate corrective action, to require two separate reviews of the clearance (tagout) procedure prior to release, will be permanently                 4 incorporated through a revision to the clearance (tagout) procedure and process prior to startup for operating Cycle 16.
B16165-2           NNECO commits to provide additional training in electrical schematic print reading to the licensed personnel prior to startup for operating Cycle 16.                        I i
