LP&L Request for Extension in Reply Date for Violations in NRC Inspection Report 50-382/89-01 l
Dear Mr. Callan:
As discussed by Robert J. Murillo of LP&L with Mr. Ward Smith of the NRC on April 20, 1989, LP&L requests an extension of 30 days in the date for reply to the violations documented in the subject report.
LP&L's request for an extension is due primarily to a change in plant senior management to take place in May 1989 and the presence of certain LP&L senior management at the NRC conference in Washington, D.C.
Senior management desires to evaluate the violations, resolutions, and responses more thoroughly with cognizant personnel and thus assure a quality response.
