NRC MONTHLY OPERATING REPORT

SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS WATERFORD 3 FEBRUARY 1987 The unit started the month in a refueling / maintenance outage. On February 4 at 1019 the reactor was critical and on February 7 at 2245 the generator was synchronized to the grid. On February 8 at 0927 the turbine was tripped to prepare for the turbine overspeed test. On February 8 at 1837 the generator was back on line. Power ascension continued and the unit reached 100% power on February 21.

The unit continued operation at approximately 100% power for the remainder of the month, i
