Response-Louisiana Power & Light Company will address this item in three (3) parts:
physical arrangement of the facility, emergency response organization-positions and training.
A)
Physical Arrangement of the Facility - The layout of,the Emergency Operations Facility Operations Room will be changed to more centrally
' locate the EOF Director. lutis modification will also bring the Operations / Engineering Coordinator and R'diological Assessment a
Coordinator in closer proximity to the EOF Director and.one another.
The new Operations Room arrangement should facilitate improved communications and coordination of activities for the EOF Director and his key coordinators.' The previous Operations Room layout is.shown in

Modifications to the Operations Room and the necessary procedure changes to EP-2-102, Emergency Operations Facility (EOF)

Emergency Response Organization Positions - Three (3) additional positions have been approved for the EOF organization: Deputy EOF
' Director,- Radiological Assessment Coordinator Assistant.and Operations / Engineering Coordinator Assistant. These positions have been added to provide a63istance to the key EOF coordinators in conducting immediate routine tasks, enabling then to concentrate their
- efforts in coordinating emergency response with the EOF Director.

Training.- A drill ~ activity for EOF Operations Room personnel will be conducted in the first quarter of 1987 for EOF emergcncy organization assignees. This drill will be specifically developed to address command and control end information flow during emergencies. The drill is presently scLeduled for January 21, 1987. The applicable training lesson plans iJr the EOF Director and his key coordinators
_ vill be revised to provide emphasis on command and control and information flow for new essignees to the EOF emergency organization by January 30, 1987.
