OF OPERATIONS WATERFORD 3 MAY 1986 The unit started the month at approximately 100% power. On May 9 at 2034, at 100% power, a reactor trip occurred on low departure from nucleate boiling ratio (DNBR) due to a failure of a reed switch assembly for control element assembly #35. On May 11 at 1146, the generator was back on line. On May 26, a power reduction was initiated to replace an annunciator relay interface board in the drive mechanism for control element assembly #45. On May 27, the unit returned to 100% power and ended the month at that power.
