SUMMARY
-0F OPERATIONS WATERFORD 3' JANUARY 1986 i
1 The uait had two reactor trips during the month.- The unit started the month,
- at 100% power. On January 7 at 1452 at 100% power a reactor trip occurred ~on low departure from nucleate boiling ratio (DNBR) due to a control. element assembly _ misalignment. On January 8 at 0944 the generator was back on line.
On January 22 at 1717 at 100% power a reactor trip occurred on low DNBR follow-ing dropping a control element assembly due to inadvertently shutting-off a' cooling fan in the control element drive mechanism system. On January 24 at 0031 the generator was back on line.
On' January 24 the unit reached 100% power and continued operation.at approximately 100% power for-the remainder of the month'.
