Dear Mr. Knighton:
This letter serves as the 1984 Annual Environmental Operating Report for Waterford Steam Electric Station - Unit Number 3 (Waterford 3).
The Waterford 3 Operating License was issued on December 18, 1984, and this report fulfills the reporting requirements from that date through December 31, 1984. There were no environmental activities meeting the reporting requirements of Section 5.4.1 of the Environmental Protection Plan during the specified period of time other than a noncompliance report which was submitted to the EPA describing a December 26, 1984 NPDES permit limitation exceedance for 5-day biological oxygen demand at outfall 004, a package extended aeration unit for treatment of sanitary sewage.
