Letter, W3P84-3414, K.W. Cook to G.W. Knighton, dated December 7, 1984
Dear Mr. Knighton:
In the reference letter, LP&L agreed to provide a detailed commitment for performance of confirmatory analyses on the Waterford 3 basemat.
In order to assure that the scope of the analyses proposed will be responsive to the NRC Staff requests, LP&L has set up a meeting with the NRC Staff to review a proposed program of confirmatory analyses.
A meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 13, 1985 with LP&L, Ebasco, Dr. Holley (LP&L consultant), NRC Staf f and BNL personnel to review the proposed program. A "for information only" program plan is attached.
This program does not fulfill the commitment in reference 1 and is fiot a commitment to perform the specific analysis outlined in the plan.
It is being provided to the NRC Staff and BNL for their review and discussion at the February 13, 1985 meeting, following.which LP&L will provide the program committed to in reference 1.
LP&L appreciates your assistance in setting up this meeting and looks forward to mutual agreement on the scope of the confirmatory analyses.
