SECY-22-0062: Final Rule: NuScale Small Modular Reactor Design Certification (RIN 3150-AJ98; NRC-2017-0029)
This is the first small modular reactor design submitted to NRC, and it includes several first-of-a-kind safety features. Based on the thorough safety review performed by the NRC staff and the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards, I approve publication of the final rule to certify the NuScale design.
