STAFF REQUIREMENTS - SECY-21-0004 - PROPOSED RULE:
NUSCALE SMALL MODULAR REACTOR DESIGN CERTIFICATION (RIN 3150-AJ98; NRC-2017-0029)
The Commission has approved the publication in the Federal Register of the proposed rule that would amend Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 52, Licenses, Certifications, and Approvals for Nuclear Power Plants, to certify the NuScale standard design, subject to the enclosed edits. The Commission has also approved the Environmental Assessment subject to the enclosed edits.
The revised Federal Register notice prepared as a result of the direction in the staff requirements memorandum for this paper should be provided to the Commission for its information no later than 10 business days prior to its transmittal for publication.
