j On October 12, 1987, we verbally notified your Mr. L. Ellershaw of a deficiency involving Solid State Safeguard Sequencer (SSSS) relays which do not meet their contact interrupting rating requirements.
This issue was identified by third party review as a result of activities initiated under the Comanche Peak Response Team Program.
This is a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Our most recent interim report was logged 1XX-6933, dated November 9, 1987.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate submitting our next report by March 16, 1988.
