DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 FLEXIBLE CONDUIT INSPECTIONS SDAR: CP-87-97 (INTERIM REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On September 8,1987, we verbally notified your Mr. Ian Barnes of a possible reportable deficiency involving QC inspection records.
Specifically, Class 1E flexible conduits attached between electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and junction boxes have not been inspected by mechanical or electrical QC inspectors for minimum and maximum flex length in accordance with applicable procedures and design drawings.
These conditions were identified by Corrective Action Request CAR-075.
This is an intarim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). Our last interim report was logged TXX-6833, dated October 8, 1987.
We are continuing our evaluation of this issue and will submit our next report no later than March 14, 1988.
