Gentlemen:
On June 29, 1987, we verbally notified your Mr. H. S. Phillips of a deticiency involving engineering approval provided to allow bending of Nelson Stud anchors on the containment liner in excess of FSAR requirements.
Our latest interim report on this issue, logged TXX-6696, was submitted on August 27, 1987.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate submitting our next report by February 10, 1988.
