DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 POLAR CRANE SUPPORT STRUCTURE SDAR: CP-86-62 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On October 3,1986, we notified you by our letter, logged TXX-6011, of a deficiency involving a misinterpretation of the polar crane load cases, which we deemed reportable under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). Our most recent report submitted to status the implementation of corrective action was logged TXX-6764 dated September 25, 1987.
In our report TXX-6764 we indicated the installation of additional polar crane rail hold down clips was complete for Unit 1 and was in progress for Unit 2.
Our original completion date of October 9, 1987 for installation of the Unit 2 rail hold down clips was not met due to scheduling concerns.
l The Unit 2 rail hold down clips are now scheduled to be installed by January 19, 1988.
