1 On June 4, 1984, we verbally notified your Mr. D. Hunnicutt of a deficiency involving the environmental qualification of equipment outside containment for high energy line breaks (HELB).
This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Our latest interim report, logged Txx-6588, was submitted'on July 28, 1987.
The evaluation of this issue with regard to safety of plant operations is continuing. We will submit our next report no later than November 30, 1987.
