CP-86-37 (INTERIM REPORT)
Gentlemen:
On May 14, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. I. Barnes of a deficiency involving firing board assemblies and amplifier boards used in Class 1E battery chargers that do not conform to vendor assembly drawings.
This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). Our most recent interim report was logged TXX-6276, dated February 11, 1987.
Our review of the procurement processes and adequacy of the affected hardware is continuing. We are unable to complete our assessment of this issue for plant safety significance until the review is completed.
We expect to submit our next report by June 26, 1987.
