Dear Mr. Johnson:
On June 6,1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T.F. Westerman of a possible deficiency involving the interaction of non-Category I structures and components with seismic Category I structures. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provision of 10CFR50.55(e). We have submitted an interim report logged TXX-4893, dated July 3,1986.
The review of documentation related to this issue and the investigation of our projects licensing commitments and those of similar NT0L projects requires additional time to complete. We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate submitting our next report by October 3, 1986.
