Dear Mr. Johnson:
On June 4,1984, we verbally notified your Mr. D. Hunnicutt of a deficiency involving the environmental qualification of equipment outside containment for high energy line breaks (HELB). This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Our most recent interim report was logged TXX-4710, dated February 21, 1986.
We have completed the thermal analysis of the environment and are in the process of reviewing the operability of equipment. We anticipate submitting our next report by July 16, 1986.
