On April 3, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. F..iesterman of a deficiency involving a potential failure of the react;. protection system-permissive, P-10, to reset during power reduction to below the P-10 setpoint. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
This evaluation is the result of a notification provided to the NRC by Westinghouse.
We are continuing our evaluation,and anticipate submitting our next report by June 4, 1986.
