Dear Mr. Johnson:
On February 27, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. Westerman of a deficiency involving attachments at or in close proximity to design gaps between secondary walls and adjacent walls / floors.
This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). The evaluation of this issue involves the assessment by Gibbs & Hill of all secondary wall gaps to determine relative displacements between secondary walls and the above slab.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate completion of our final report by June 5, 1986.
