COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 CONTROL BOARD SEPARATION MATERIAL SDAR: CP-85-38 (FINAL REPORT)
Dear Mr. Johnson:
On September 18, 1985, we verbally notified your Mr. T. Weste-man of a deficiency regarding glastic material separation barriers ins:alled in Class IE main control boards and panels without proper design basis docu-mentation. We have submitted an interim report logged TXX-4586, dated October 10, 1985.
Evaluation efforts to assess this issue have included field verification to identify specific applications and qualification of this material through " shake table" testing. The results of these efforts have concluded
.that the mounting and application of glastic material is seismically ade-quate.
Installation and configuration requirements have been properly documented. No adverse conditions exist. The issue is not reportable under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). Records supporting this deter-mination are available for your inspectors to review at the CPSES site.
