On August 18, 1982, we verbally informed your Mr. Tom Westerman of a deficiency regarding defective pinion keys in Limitorque motor operators. We have sub-mitted an interim report logged TXX-3569 dated September 14, 1982.
We have completed our investigation and concluded that the matter is not reportable under 10CFR50.55(e). Records supporting this determination are available for your Inspector's review at the CPSES site.
