Dear Mr. Madsen:
On January 10, 1981 we verbally informed your Mr. R. G. Taylor of a deficiency regarding the use of a cable lubricant identified as
" Yellow 77", which in the dry state is combustible.
On February 18, 1981 and May 13, 1981 we submitted interim reports logged TXX-3280 and TXX-3318, respectively, which advised you that our evaluation was continuing.
We have now completed our investigation and concluded that the matter is not reportable under 10 CFR 50.55(e).
Records supporting this determination are available for your Inspector's review at the CPSES site.
