Dear Mr. Seidle:
In accordance with 10CFR50.55(e), we are submitting this final report of actions taken to address nonconformances and correct deficiencies which occurred in the design and design review of the fuel building crane systems. We previously submitted to you an interim report attached to our letter number TXX-2490, dated September 21, 1977.
The following actions were taken to finalize corrective actions for this deficiency:
1.
The Applicant reviewed and verified the administrative measures utilized by Gibbs & Hill detailing design interface and design review between the Structural Special Analysis Group and the Structural Design Group.
j 2.
Gibbs & Hill has prepared an instruction document detailing interface controls between these two groups should additional work require this interface. As the fuel building crane system was the last job requiring interface between these two groups, verification of the use of this document was not accomplished. Should the future need for this interface control arise, which is presently not expected, the document would be available for use.

As an additional measure to ensure the problem was not j
generic, the interface between the two groups was checked j
for all other seismic Category I cranes for this project.
l This action verified that the design data had been properly interpreted and utilized.
if we can provide any additional information concerning the interim or final report, please advise.
Very truly yours, R. J. Gary l
