Dear Mr. Seidle:

On February 28, 1977, the TUSI Project Manager-Kuclear Plants, notified Mr. Stewart of your staff that a small fire had occurred in a concrete curing blanket at the Comanche Peak service water intake structure. This incident, which had' occurred on February 8, 1977, and had not immediately been reported to TUGC0 QA, was identified as possibly reportable under provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).

Subsequent evaluation of the structure by the Engineer has resulted in our determination that the incident was not reportable under terms of the above referenced document.
