Contrary to the above, on October 11, 2013, a drain hose was moved from inside the RWCU pump room to outside the room. This hose was the source of radiation which resulted in an unbarricaded and unposted high radiation area outside the pump room. This was identified by radiation protection technicians performing radiological surveys in the area. The licensee documented this issue in CAP 01401180. The finding was determined to be of very low safety significance (Green) because it was not an ALARA planning issue, there was no overexposure nor potential for overexposure, and the licensees ability to assess dose was not compromised.bility to assess dose was not compromised. +
