STC UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 ALL AGREEMENT STATES, CONNECTICUT, AND INDIANA RESULTS OF THE ANNUAL COUNT OF ACTIVE RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL LICENSES IN THE NATIONAL MATERIALS PROGRAM (STC-22-034)

Purpose:

To inform the Agreement States of the results of the information request contained in STC-20-017, Annual Count of Active Radioactive Material Licenses in the National Materials Program.

Background:

Annually, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requests that all Agreement States provide the number of specific radioactive material licenses currently active under their jurisdiction.

Discussion: The latest count of specific radioactive material licenses in the National Materials Program, as of May 18, 2022, is provided in an enclosure. The number of these specific licenses that are categorized as industrial, medical, or academic is also indicated.
