- BIENNIAL REVIEW OF FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT FEES The Commission has approved the staff's recommendations to maintain the current method to recover Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) search and review fees and conduct a rulemaking, as a direct final rule, to update codified pay levels used to calculate the fees charged by the NRC for search and review of agency records in response to FOIA requests.
