Chase, Sarah Vertexeng I am conducting a Phase I ESA at Pfizer Torrey Pines Life Sciences Campus with the following addresses 10555, 10625, 10646, 10724, 10770, and 10777 Science Center Drive, and Lot 29. I am requesting all records associated with General Technologies Inc. and General Atomics/General Dynamics (GA) and the 304-acre complex that went through radionuclide decommissioning in the mid-to late-1980s by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU). The decommissioning occurred through four phases with an individual report for each phase.

On October 17, 2024, the Office of the Federal Register published a notice in the Federal Register (89 FR 83632) correcting two printing errors in a proposed rule document (2024-22385) that was published on October 4, 2024 (89 FR 80797).

List of Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks: Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System, Certificate of Compliance No. 1014, Renewed Amendment No. 18; Confirmation of Effective Date; 10 CFR Part 72 [NRC-2024-0105; RIN 3150-AL18]

On October 18, 2024, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) published a notice in the Federal Register (89 FR 83775) confirming the effective date of November 19, 2024, for the direct final rule that published in the Federal Register at 89 FR 72304 on September 5, 2024.

The direct final rule amended its spent fuel storage regulations by revising the Holtec International HI-STORM 100 Cask System listing within the List of approved spent fuel storage casks to include Renewed Amendment No. 18 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1014. Renewed Amendment No. 18 amends the certificate of compliance to incorporate the Holtec Report No.

HI-2200343-A entitled, Topical Report for Allowance of Heat Load Patterns in HI-STORM 100 and HI-STORM FW Systems. The effective date of November 19, 2024, for the direct final rule published on September 5, 2024, is confirmed.

On October 18, 2024, the NRC published a notice in the Federal Register (89 FR 83775) confirming the effective date of November 19, 2024, for the direct final rule that published in the Federal Register at 89 FR 72299 on September 5, 2024. The direct final rule amended the NAC International, Inc. MAGNASTOR Storage System listing within the List of approved spent fuel storage casks to include Amendment No. 13 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1031. The effective date of November 19, 2024, for the direct final rule published on September 5, 2024, is confirmed.
