P R O C E E D I N G S CHAIRMAN SVINICKI: Thank you very much operator. Good morning, this is Kristine Svinicki, Chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. I have just gaveled open our Commissions affirmation session this morning. I am in the NRC Commission Meeting Room adjoined by the Secretary of the Commission, Annette Vietti-Cook. I understand on the line; in addition to, my colleagues who will of course have a speaking role today. We also have the General Counsel of the NRC, Marian Zobler. With that, I understand that we have two items for affirmation this morning. Madam Secretary, would you please lead the Commission through this affirmation session?
ANNETTE VIETTI-COOK: Yes, we have two items as you have mentioned. The first item is SECY-20-0084 Oklo Power, Limited Liability Company (Aurora Reactor) - Emergency Petition to Immediately Revoke or Suspend Docketing Notice and Hearing Notice for Combined License Application by Oklo Power, Limited Liability Company and Request for Clarification that Nuclear Energy Innovation and Modernization Act [(NEIMA)] does not Mandate or Authorize Disregard of NRC Procedural Requirements for New Reactor Applicants. License Applicants.
The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order responding to an emergency petition filed by a number of organizations (collectively, Petitioners) requesting that the Commission immediately revoke or suspend the docketing notice and hearing notice in the proceeding on the combined license application submitted by Oklo Power, Limited Liability Company.
4 The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order denying the Petitioners request that the Commission exercise its supervisory authority over this proceeding to immediately revoke or suspend the docketing notice and hearing notice or to make the requested clarifications regarding NEIMA. Within 15 days of the publication of the Memorandum and Order, the NRC staff is directed to make available an appropriately redacted version of the Application and to file a notice on the Hearing Docket when that version is available.

The Commission is being asked to act on a Memorandum and Order addressing the appeal of Blue Ridge Environmental Defense League and its chapter Concerned Citizens of Shell Bluff from the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards denial of its hearing request on Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Incorporateds application for an amendment to the Vogtle Unit 3 combined license.
5 The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order affirming the Boards decision.
