- Items of Interest Week Ending August 10, 2018 Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) Evaluation On August 3, 2018, contract 31310018C0015 was awarded to RMA ASSOCIATES LLC in Arlington, VA. The purpose of this firm fixed price contract is to provide independent evaluation of the NRC and Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board's implementation of the FISMA 2014.
The base period of performance for this contract is from August 3, 2018 through August 2, 2019, with four 1-year option periods extending to August 2, 2023. The total potential value over the life of the award is $836,094.

Items of Interest Week Ending August 10, 2018 Final Spent Fuel Pool Seismic Response Letter On August 8, 2018, the staff issued the final spent fuel pool seismic evaluation response letter to Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. This was the final staff response to the limited-scope seismic evaluation submittals made in response to the NRC's March 12, 2012, request for information letter issued under 10 CFR 50.54(f). This completes the staff responses for the seismic response portion of the 50.54(f) letter, except for those sites that needed to conduct a seismic probabilistic risk assessment.
