Physical Security Plan Revision 1 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4), 'Security plan and related submittals," and 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), 'Conditions of licenses,' AmerGen Energy Company, LLC, is submitting a change to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station Physical Security Plan (PSP).
Attached is Revision 1 of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station PSP.
As described in Attachment 1, PSP Revision 1 includes the following change.
- The PSP has been revised to change the current escort to visitor ratio for Vital Areas. Revision 0 of the PSP stated that the ratio is 10 visitors to 1 escort. The ratio has been reduced to require a maximum of only 5 visitors to 1 escort while within a Vital Area.
As required by 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), we have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station Physical Security Plan.
The change to the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Station PSP were implemented on December 14, 2004. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), these changes are to be submitted within two months of implementation (i.e., February 14, 2005).
