This letter is being submitted to document the extension of a commitment developed in response to NRC Violation 9325-04. This issue was discussed with Mr. David Proulx of your office on February 7,1996.
NRC Violation 9325-04, example 7, concerned the repetitive failure of two radiation monitor flow switches. The associated commitment was to install a new design flow switch and was to be completed during Refueling Outage 6. The package is currently ready for implementation and is expected to be implemented within 60 days after plant startup from the outage.
