Victor Dricks, 817-200-1128 NRC Names New Resident Inspector at Arkansas Nuclear One The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has selected Nathan Brown as one of its resident inspectors at Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville, Ark.
Prior to joining the NRC in 2019, Brown served in the U.S. Navy and is a graduate of the Navys nuclear power program. He holds a bachelors degree in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University.
Each U.S. commercial nuclear power plant has at least two resident inspectors. Brown joins resident inspector Tim Debey at Arkansas Nuclear One. They serve as the agencys eyes and ears at the facility, conduct regular inspections, monitor plant operations and significant work projects, and interact with plant workers and the public.
