Deaconess operates facilities in Evansville and Newburgh, Ind.

The NRC conducted the inspection between March and April 2014. NRC staff looked at the usage of licensed materials for diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine. Once the violation of NRC requirements was identified, the hospital took immediate corrective actions to restore compliance.

Details about security-related violations are not made public.

A copy of the Enforcement Letter will be available on the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at the NRC website.
