Sheehan, (610)337-5331/e-mail: nas@nrc.gov NRC TO DISCUSS PERFORMANCE AT THREE MILE ISLAND NUCLEAR PLANT Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with representatives of the Three Mile Island 1 nuclear power plant next Tuesday to discuss the results of the agencys latest Plant Performance Review for the facility. The plant, which is located in Middletown, Pa., is operated by AmerGen Energy Company.
Issuance of the reviews was announced in NRC news release 00-059 on April 5. The Plant Performance Review letter can be found on the agencys web site at: http://www.nrc.gov/OPA/ppr/.
The meeting, which will be open to the public for observation, will be held at 2 p.m. at the plants Training Center, Room 118, on Route 441 in Middletown. At its conclusion, NRC staff will be available to answer questions from interested observers and to meet with state and local officials.
